Trappist Monastery ruins overgrown with medicinal herbs at golden hour

Hollow Reed School of Healing Arts & Herbals

The body is made of the same stuff as the planet.

A Living School of Plant Medicine

Hollow Reed is a grassroots school dedicated to organic and wild-harvested products, ethical harvesting practices, local medicine security, and a deep reconnection to the earth and the living traditions of herbalism and meditation.

Rooted in the historic Trappist Monastery grounds at the St. Norbert Arts Centre in Winnipeg, we bridge ancestral plant knowledge with modern clinical practice — training the next generation of herbalists to serve their communities with integrity and reverence.

The Apothecary

Hand-Crafted with Reverence

Every tincture, tea blend, and preparation is crafted from organic and wild-harvested botanicals, prepared with intention in our monastery apothecary.

"We don't need to go searching for healing in some far-off place. The medicine is already here — growing under our feet, rooted in the same soil we are."

— Chad Cornell, Integrative Master Herbalist
